Entrepreneurship is an answer to the unemployment, economic devastation, and lack that plagues our communities. We believe it is a driver of social change.

Through entrepreneurship, students are awakened to the different markets and industries they can participate in. They open up to innovation and business leadership.

The Business of Beauty and Barbering Mentorship program intends to expose participants to the business world. It prepares students to occupy positions in this ever-growing industry and to become leaders within the beauty industry.

Our program covers four major concepts which culminate with a Celebration of Us event where students get the opportunity to showcase their skills and final products.

The four concepts include:

Computer Skills Development: this includes spreadsheet development and budget format building
Social media etiquette: we teach learners how to behave on social media
Beauty and barbering technique developments: we explore the best techniques and trends in the beauty market.
Basic marketing and branding: our workshop also dives into what it takes to expose and build brands
How to start and run a business: this includes the basics of entrepreneurship
