On March 31, 2022, gun violence erupted on a peaceful evening in East Flatbush. The sound of police and ambulance sirens followed—an all too familiar series of events that indicated to residents that a tragedy occurred.
The entire staff of Elite Learners Inc. condemns the shooting that ended the life of a 12-year-old boy. 😢
With the support of our partners, Elite Learners plans to double our violence interruption efforts in the communities we serve. Our organization also offers a range of support programs to help the traumatized faculty, staff, and students at the victim’s school.
Please join us on April 1 at 5 p.m. for an anti-gun violence rally with local clergy, elected officials, and community leaders. The event will take place at the site of the shooting, East 56th Street and Linden Boulevard. ✊🏾💪🏾
