We are looking to hire a private security professional. Preference will be given to off duty/retired law enforcement or military.

Responsibilities:

• Remain alert and aware of the surroundings;
• Able to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods;
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that may arise;
• Guard, Patrol, or monitor premises to prevent safety hazards/violence;
• Circulates among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order;
• Provides escort services as requested;
• Makes immediate reports to designated organizational personnel;
• Monitors and authorizes entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security/safety of premises;
• May be required to operate organization or client owned vehicles, providing safe and efficient transportation as required;
• Provides customer service in accordance with company established standards and expectations;
• May be requested to perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director’s needs;
• Write detailed incident reports following any incident, occurrence, or variance that warrants documentation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED with law enforcement, military, and/or security experience;
• Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private);
• Must have applicable state and local license/permits to carry a concealed firearm;
• Strong problem resolution skills;
• Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures;
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
